Homemade Mayonnaise

It’s easier to make than you’d think and much better than store bought. The process of emulsifying is so satisfying to watch!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil Of choice (I’m using sunflower oil)
  • 1 tbs Red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbs Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • squeeze Lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Crack your egg and using an immersion blender cap the egg yolk and start blending as you slowly start incorporating your vegetable oil;
  • Once emulsified, add your vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt and lemon juice; continue blending until it thickens and enjoy!

Notes

You can store in the fridge up to 3-4 days!
